We set out with two bold objectives:
Grow With Us — to inspire students to run for president and campus officer roles.
Vote For Growth — to spotlight student manifestos and drive voter turnout in the UCASU elections.
Creative Approach: Tapping into this year’s growth theme, I transformed the student union logo into a dynamic flower — a symbol of progress and positive change. The challenge? Keep the brand identity tight while making each campaign phase stand out.
The solution: bold, block colours for Grow With Us, and a striking halftone flower image for Vote For Growth. A consistent floral motif tied both together while distinct visuals made each instantly recognisable. To spark even more buzz, I created a bespoke, branded seed packet — perfectly aligned with UCASU’s eco-friendly values. It became a shareable, tangible piece of the campaign that drove organic conversation and social engagement.
The result?
Record engagement, packed ballots, and every leadership position filled by passionate, proactive students.
